Hi everyone!

I know it's been awhile since my last post- just wanted to say I'm still around. There's been some awesome progress on the board game artwork- looking forward to sharing soon!!

Also experimenting with some ideas for a campaign/dungeon crawl mechanic that might be fun...

I also play actively via async mode- send me a game invite if you'd like to try and gain the "Victory vs. Game Creator" achievement.

I'm reading from the original bug post that the issue is sprint rolls can be canceled by jumping out of the game and re-entering to get a new result. This is definitely an exploit.

Sprint is supposed to function as follows: Once you roll for sprint, you lose your attack- you can choose not to sprint, but you don't get your attack back and you can't roll again until next turn.

In order to fix this, I need to log the sprint roll result in the system. Alternatively, I was suggesting I could change the sprint rule so that you don't get a choice of seeing the roll result before you commit to sprinting. You would always see a possible move of 7 spaces, but you might only get a 4 and move that many spaces towards your goal, potentially leaving you exposed. This makes sprint much more of a gamble because you lose (not only your option to attack) but potentially expose yourself to vulnerable position if the roll is not as high as expected.

v1.8.6 was a patch for Google Play version to resolve in-app purchase and performance issues.

As such I've turned off server requirements to match game version, so you should be able to load these games now  ;D

This is next on my list after having resolved the Google Play IAP issue (finally). Has the community come to a consensus on how Sprint should be handled?

One unique opportunity could be as follows:

You always have the option to *try* and sprint up to seven spaces (vs. see your roll amount and then pick) - then, based on your actual roll, you move those many spaces.

This would make sprinting a far riskier tactic since you couldn't always rely on to escape certain situations - PLUS - you commit to the sprint vs. take a pass if you don't like the roll. Personally, I feel this capture the nature of the game mechanic. Sprint is intended to tax your character's endurance and produce unpredictable results. Knowing, in advance, that your character is too tired to make the full distance diminishes the suspense.

What does everyone think?

Thanks everyone for reporting this issue. Anyone who didn't receive their characters should have received a redeemable code. I have since resolved this issue on Google Play so there should be no further issues. Yay!!

I had some time today to track down that nasty bug on Google Play that was impacting several users who were purchasing extra characters but not seeing them activate. There's an update posting today on Google Play that should resolve this problem for good.

Try combining Psion + Minotaur. You can predict the total run distance before committing to the sprint for devastating results. Also, the roar ability is extremely potent if you can get the Mino surrounded by a blob of enemy units; Paly's have impacted this a bit since the latest balance change, but still effective.

Shoot me an email at ross@d20studios.com with your purchase info and I'll generate a promocode for you to activate the content. Purchases should be automatic, but sometimes GooglePlay has billing issues so the promo's work well to resolve.

There's no messaging system in place for async/offline communication. But this is something I'm investigating for future release.

Discarded cards are returned to the bottom of the deck. The deck is never shuffled, but constantly recycled. Summon cards stay in play and are only discarded when creature is removed from board.

On par? Oh yes...definitely.

A fully valored Wizard is often the most deadly adversary. I've defeated entire parties with only my Wizard left. And...it's just so gratifying to see that crazy old man just warp in and own with a crazy spell combo.

There should be a special achievement for absolutely horrid dice rolls ;)
