Feature Requests / Re: Proposed Game times.

I'd say just to get things kicking, have a "virtual gamenight." On fridays me and my friends play lan / xbox games at a certain time, usually 8pm-2am, and we meet rain or shine, even easier to do online. Why not have certain weekday/weekends posted to the main page to alert players that there is sure to be a lot of people on playing a certain time, and then of course we could also play whenever else we wanted ;)

Once enough people hear about the game and players start to populate the lobby, this game is going to sky rocket off.  The gameplay is addictive and with built in communication in the form of in-game chat, chat-room lobbies and forums it takes the online experience and brings the old school 4 player camaraderie feel back (like the old golden eye... or even gauntlet days).  I like how I can play free for all or teamed, the game maintains a fair balance and offers a good blend of strategy and draw luck, similar to magic the gathering and other such card based games.  The visuals and uniqueness of every character, monster and spell make building teams and dueling in general a lot of fun.  I like how its like playing a board game with your friends but there's no mess to clean up and the pieces really come to life (sorta like if Jumanji went all fantasy/medieval).  And to top it off, its free, I'd pay good $ to play this, and the basic elements are being offered free with options to upgrade.

i give it two thumbs up  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
come play me in the lobby sometime!

Game Balance / Being 1st player on a timed battle
July 25, 2009, 06:45:45 PM MT
Being first player on a timed battle stinks, third player gets signifcant extra time to look at their opening hand and formulate strategy while I am placed on the spot to react with the clock already ticking...

2 possible routes to go here:

1. nobody sees their opening hand until their turn begins and then its plays as normal with seeing your hand during other's turns
2. first player gets extra time on opening hand

i like option 1 best as it seems the most balanced and fair.
