Hey Ross,

I'm just curious, Hero Mages will be at Gencon next week right? I remember running into you at Origins in Columbus and couldn't remember if you said you would be or not.

Well since my brother mentioned it to me, I'll be checking in now and then too. I like the changes Ross, they confused me at first but it looks good.

Well since I've been a gamer since I was young, there are more than a few:

Like my brother I played almost every card game under the sun: all the kiddie card games, Magic (with my unbeatable Zombie deck), DBZ, Warlord, basically any strategy card game.

I wasn't that big on computer games, but I did play a few of the Warcrafts. I'm amazing at mindsweeper, and my favorite, The Monkey Island series lol.

My brother and I had almost every gaming system, and we usually had most of the games for them. So video games are a check.

I play any type of board games but the two I like most are Chess and Risk. Anything that requires coming up with a strategy. Plus we played miniatures for a while, DnD minis, Mageknight, and the such.

Well Ross, I would have had him if my computer didn't glitch which made me kill my own FM lol. I swear I clicked on his FM with the lightning bolt.

I agree with Warmage. This sounds like a great idea to try and expand the community, also to encourage battles between all ranks of people.

The only problem I can think of right now is what if someone's account lags or they get kicked off?

But I would love to participate in a tournament.

Ross, I know you said your ranking system is the one for chess tournaments but its kinda annoying when people won't play you in rank but then when a new person or person of less rank pops on they hurry up and play them in rank.

So I was just wondering if you could tweek it so that if you play somebody with like 100 or 150 less points you only get like 1 or 2 points for winning but still lose the same amount as usual.

Its just getting to the point where some players don't play anybody besides new people who dont know how to play or people they play and beat constantly.

Assasination has been up for months, it's under the objective tab in the game description.

Ross I really like the changes in your last post. That seems really good for toning some of the spells down while still making them worth playing, well in my opinion. Also as a player who mainly plays sorceress, I like the new set up you presented.

Also I wouldn't mind testing a "beta" before the changes are permanent.

As much as it pains me, I agree with my brother on most parts.

-The sorceress now seems kinda useless to me. I loved her old 10 valor ability, it was probably one of the only reasons I keep winning with her. Also her new 15 valor ability to me seems pretty bad for being her top ability. She needs cheap destruction spells but not at the cost of losing a game. I don't know, maybe make it an optional ability or make it so she can only lose two defense at most from the ability.

-Also I agree with Ross, these new changes will most likely make it more interesting in FFA, but can you tell when was the last time you popped on and saw more than one person who wanted to play? Usually you can only get duels now. Recently I just have to play my brother over and over because nobody is on...... with an exception there seems to be more people coming on as of late, but like my brother said all these changes might scare some new people away.

-And last I would just like to thank you for not changing my rouge, I don't think I could play anymore if you did. The Order of The Rouge thanks you kindly.
