Since we cannot enjoy the beta of Summoners Fate just yet, I propose to all to join a HERO MAGES live gaming session this Sunday! 
For former fans, this is a unique opportunity to put a few more hours in this tremendous game, playing with real players, maybe even reconnecting with former friends and foes!
For those who don't know Hero Mages, you can learn first hand what Ross was able to pull out by himself about 10 years ago. There is a "spectator" feature built in, so you can watch games real time (or even replay some). Be sure to install the app beforehand from the Apple store or Google Play, and create an account. And if you're tempted to try the game for yourself, I'm sure we can get a few volunteers to teach you the basics (it's not as easy to learn as Summoners Fate is, but it's sure addictive once you're past that).
So let's meet this Sunday at 2 PM MDT (9PM Western Continental Europe).

Welcome to the team!
The community unfortunately has sometimes lows on attendance, but it's otherwise a great bunch of people, you'll see.

Here's a tip for you: if you see a started game in the lobby, do join it as a Spectator (just click on it). Chances are it's someone playing an offline game, not aware that somebody else is available to play live. Just say hi with the chat function and ask if the person's interested in a live game. According to my experience you'll often get a positive answer, or some offer to meet again (it's a great way to meet more players). And otherwise, well, just say bye and try your luck another time!  ;-)

Don't hesitate to post or consult the forum. It's a great resource.

Alchimedes has me back at playing as well. I won't play too many games at once (I might decline once in a while), but I'm active again.
No way I'm gonna let this game die anyway.

Not many players are checking out the forum. There is a newsletter function built into Hero Mages that Ross hasn't used for a long time (if ever). My idea was to write a newsletter to reach out to these other players, and try to bring as much as possible to the game and forum.
Announcing the fix would of course be both the occasion and main piece of information, but we could add more to show that the community is alive and motivate more players to become active. For instance we talked about coaching before, or there could be a link to posts for beginners, a poll for remodeling the website's home page (to replace the obsolete announcement section), a meet-in-the-lobby or tournament date, you name it!

And what about teaming up for a newsletter to announce Ross' fix for the sprint exploit? We could add a few items of our own. Interested?

Fellow players,

Tonight I started an uphill battle with bots, just for the fun of it. 3v4. After what seemed an okay beginning, it soon started to look grim. Then very grim! I was left with my 2 hp sorceress against:
2 mages
5 guardians!
and 4 elementals!!!!

But she was no sissy. She saw the last of them all...

Hello,

I completed game #83515 a few days ago. Being victorious, it earned me #1 spot in the FFA leaderboard, and a nice move upward in overall one.  But this game didn't go off my game list (maybe because the other players haven't checked it yet? ). It still shows "Destiny awaits". The problem is,  my scores in the leaderboards keep raising, apparently as if each time I opened the game it counted victory points again.
Could you please take a look and see what's going on?
