I've been running the Random/random/randoM setup with about 50% success rate.

Normally the Random uses a couple of spells to their own benefit, then I charge with the random and the randoM, while trying to stay behind cover. It is only marginally effective.

I started out gaming on the atari 2600 (babysitter's). Then we got a NES system. I followed Nintendo to the SNES, N64, and Wii. My PC gaming experience started with the first Gateway PC's and 5.25" floppies.

PC:
Strategy - Centurion, Command and Conquer, StarCraft, Warcraft 3 (very bad at), Dawn of War, Medieva/Rome: Total War, Civilization 1-current, Heros of Might and Magic (2-5), and more I've forgotten

FPS- Tribes 2, Halo, Max Payne 2, Battlefield 1942/Vietnam/2/2142, Combat Arms, Left 4 Dead, Tremulous, Thief, Dark Messiah of M&M, and Serious Sam

Adventure- Secret of Monkey Island (whole series is awesome), LOOM, Quest for Glory Series, Seme King's Quest

Console (current):

Halo 3, Frontlines, Fallout 3, Team Fortress 2, Civilization, Left 4 Dead, etc.


Board Games:

Warhammer 40k, Chess, Go, Hero Quest, Backgammon.

I've noticed that surrending in a game using the Kubuntu->Wine->Firefox appears to freeze the game.

I've noticed that the Fighter Mage's blink ability does not allow him to travel through walls. Is this deliberate?

Most games I play end up with all of the heros dead rather quickly. To weaken the guardians to try and force people to be more protective of their heros would just make the end game less interesting.

An easy solution would be to make protection bonuses (gains) not stack with enchantments.

I don't see what is wrong with that. Normally 1 player can make a decent attack on a mage. The additional person doesn't add that much.

The power, when he had the ability was not at all OP, and removing the self buff makes him one of the weaker endgame heroes.

If the Warrior is the only one left, he has nobody to buff. There are other methods for getting rid of the bonus defense. Cripple, dispel, eviscerate, touch of death and psychic blast all neatly circumvent this. Moreover, you still have a 1/10 chance of hitting him while he has 19 defense.

Completely unnecessary nerf.

I have no issues with a team going 1st and 4th, but 1st and 2nd is really unbalanced.

I was thinking that a Giant/Ogre/Conan type character would be cool.

Basically, I see him as a barbarian type character, with only 3-4 attacks, and a knockback ability.

If you are up against a wall/another character, the knockback would count as another 2-3d attack (also against the person who is being knocked into). If you were not, you would be knocked into the adjacent/diagonal space


A dwarf character, with a high life/hp, but only a short attack (4-5 strength?).
He could also possibly the trap making type...


A unit that attacks in 2 or all directions. The obvious choice would be a hydra.



A druid/dryad. Character. Maybe also a slow effect, and a poison (I'm not ripping off WC3, really!)

I would appreciate a selection of forum skins, so that the more graphical aspects of the forum can be hidden while I'm at work.. :D
