Not sure if this has been encountered by anyone; but I haven't been able to login.  Each time I go to login I get stuck at "Connect" screen during the login process.  I ran the flash debugger and I get an error message saying:

Error #2044: Unhandled securityError:. text=Error #2048: Security sandbox violation: https://www.heromages.com/game/hmengine.swf cannot load data from https://battlemages.dyndns.org:8080/BlueBox/HttpBox.do.

John, have you been able to connect since?  Perhaps there was just a temporary glitch in server connection.

Yeah... I tried to login last night.  No Dice!!! It did the same thing at the login screen.  Idk, I am thinking there is something goofy going on with flash on my cpu.  Might need some help to see what's going.

I'm stuck at the connect screen, i keep clicking connect, but nothing, sometimes it will click over to let me log in, but most times not.

Maltross- I merged this issue with JohnZinho's since it appears to be similar.  We're trying to figure out what's causing this and we could use some help.

Could you provide:
Your ISP (comcast, At&T, etc.) - specifically- did you happen to switch your ISP recently?
Your Flash Player version (Right click on Flash player, then click About Flash Player, then provide the exact version number, for instance: "You have version 10,0,32,18 installed"
Your Browser type and version
Your Operating System
Any other technical info you know (whether or not you have firewall active, type of router you have, etc.)

Are any other users experiencing this issue?  Please report it here or email admin@heromages.com.

Maltross- I made another file change and JohnZinho now reports a successful connection.

Please try connecting via:

I really don't know what else to do. I've searched for solutions on the net, and i've done whatever anyone has told me to do, but it's still not connecting when i click the connect button. Any other advice would be appreciated, other than play it on another computer lol .

Maltross-

I've noticed you can still get on the server, as I regularly see you online.  Are you getting on via a different computer- or is your own computer connecting some times?

both, but not my computer in a few days. I can log on with my wife's comp though.

maltross

why is it just this game i have issues with? flash works fine with everything else. It's starting to be really frustrating

Ross Przybylski

Indeed- quite frustrating on my end of things as well.  I can't imagine any reason why it would support connections some of the time and not others.  Even more puzzling is that it's specifically affecting your computer and not your wife's (I had suspected it might have been something with your router/internet security).  It's got to be an issue with SmartFox Server connectivity- we will be updating to their latest client version soon- perhaps this will finally resolve the problem.  I will seek advice on their support forums as well.

Don't worry maltross- we'll figure this one out.  I know it's frustrating; hang in there.

yeah, i had thought it was an issue with the router as well. It worked fine, my connecting to the game, til recently i had to reformat my hard drive, and lost everything. After that, i've had this problem.
