i also think that FM is the best hero, as zawolf argumented.

the best way to see is to play some serius games.

totally agree, they are far too poweful.

i think removing the unstun would balance with another heros.

but the fun is that different heroes has very different skill, and the "unstun" is what makes the FM very diferent to all others.

god job kin. i can barerly kill two of them being so lucky.

i also managed to kill 7 with a tricky map. but thats no very difficult since they even cant move, and maybe you can even kill 6 of their mages in the first turn.

thats a great idea. it will be so nice to fight the cpu with HP x 2 (mage and guardians). :-)
 
4.lagging.

i never had lag problems , except when i play people with wifi, like gors.

2vs2 chocke point:

the first turn plays computer1. move FM, cast water elemental, attack with water to the sorcerer, sprint with the FM (exposing him), sleep the bard (just above the sorcerer).

ok. so much risking for nothing but ok. but then he did this:
warrior use protect on soul reaver. they two doesnt move to help the FM or go closer to the enemy.  actually they move to be a little farther.

hi.

i have found a workaround.

just press control, and roll the middle button of the mouse up. you will increase the size of the flash window.

I use internet explorer 8.

you already now the total games you played, example 220 games, 120 wins, 100 loses.
etc etc.

and showing also "you are veteran". its repetitive.

in my opinion.

congratulations. i think this is a very very very difficult to develop IA.

this is not like counter-strike, (move random, and shot with speed:x and accurate:x)

nor chess: each piece have a value, analice movements combinations and compare values.

great idea that of "rush the enemy". i didnt thought the enemy would put himself at risk for nothing in this turn, but taking closer for nexts turns so he can attack.

ok. sorry  i didnt see this post.

i dont like either the idea of kastenessen, deciding the rolls you will use,because of what diesbudt said.

and in replying to ross. using a diceless system it is better for:

1-simplicity: its even more simply.
2-hero mages will continue not relying only on strategic decisions, because of you cards (wich are random) and the ones of your enemy (random and secret) will continue playing a big role.
3-fun. ok the game with his rolls is a lot of fun, and favourite strategic game. and i can be wrong,  but i cannot leave that idea of my mind, from like 5 months i have been playing. lets see what other people thinks about that.

Hi.

I like this game with his random. Some times you throw 8 dices and kill a 17def 6hp warrior (has happened to me), and sometimes just the opposite.

But I  wonder how would be the game if rolls were not involved. Like this:

Fighter Mage have 15 hp.
Warrior always does 2 damage each attack. he have 1 of armor.
archer always does 1 damage. he have 0 armor.

if he attacks twice, he loses 1 of armor until end of turn.
the armor reduces the damage your unit takes. (1 armor, damage redudced by 1).

shield spell: a unit in the line of sight gain 3 armor until end of your next turn.
fireball: 4 damage.
iceshards. damage 3 + frozen.

I know this is time consuming to do. and even more time to balance.
maybe it could be an option to play with test this new rules basiclly implemented.

It would be greatif i could see statistics of my duels vs some other players, for example, the ones who i played most.

it would be something like this:
namewin   lose
amorphis     2023
frontal45
vinman66
vantrig108


and so on.
for me it would be valuable. it adds an extra to play duels.

i dont know whats the problem if i want to use another account.

i have all the extras, and some people doesnt.

i usually dont to play random heroes, but some people who has only basic characteres only plays random.

and when i play them in random, i want to play them with the basics characters.

maybe could be an option to deactivate the extras.
