Custom avatar

Why do we have to use pre set avatars. Not that they are not good, but I'd like to use my own, really cool pic. Will this ever be implemented. It's really not a big deal, but it would be funny to put up random pictures.

While custom avatars is a fun idea, we like to keep choices limited to Hero Mages artwork for 2 reasons:

1) Some users might abuse the system and post images whose artwork is copyrighted by other games or with content that is innappropriate or offensive.
2) Using in-game artwork for the avatars speeds up game loading time AND allows us to implement vector scaling so that the quality of the images is maintained regardless of whether you run the game in window or full screen.

We do have plans to include additional, avatars, however, as special awards you can unlock for your gaming achievements.
