Welcome to both of you.  We are always excited to build the player base up higher.  Really fun game.  I'd give you both advice but I'd just be retyping much of an already excellent post called "beginners start here".  It is in the forums and it will answer a lot of your questions.  And if you have more questions by all means ask away.
