If real life ever settles down and I can finally return to leisure activities, I still need tutoring!

I've managed to play a few games over the last several months and pretty much forgot all I learned.  Where I was beating the AI 9 out of 10 games, those numbers have almost completely flipped.

Hope to see everyone fairy soon, but I doubt it, I'm sure it  will be several more months before I'm back, unfortunately.

MM, it seems that we will be keeping our work separate, but if you are done before me, I will be using some of your stuff, probably....

So, don't worry about sending me anything for the User's Guide.

30 years ago I had a PnP toon I called Nameless (or Noname, but it was close none-the-less)!  I've always been bad with names - period.

You said, "...even my Android phone (although I have to be really careful where I touch the screen...," have you turned on the confirmation options in settings?  These helped me quite a bit (I think they are on by default).

The reason I ask is that the editor tab (shaped like a globe) is one of the few things that appears in the browser game but not on my tablet.

Yes, I just tested it.  I thought so, but wasn't sure.

It is all account based, not OS, so in short, yes.  I can tell you my custom content, including maps, is accessible on my Android Tablet.

I have to assume this is true for all platforms, but since I do not have iOS and cannot verify my statement, I may be wrong (but I strongly believe I am not).

Any other suggestions, comments, stories, etc. are welcome, BTW.  Please post them in this topic.

I find that sometimes Ross is quite busy and doesn't always have a chance to respond.  But, I am (slowly) working on the game's User's Guide (here), so when I get a chance, I will read over your post and see if I can incorporate any (or all) of it into the manual (and the changes I am making).

I am looking forward to backgrounds on all the mages.

More ideas?  Keep them coming, but if possible, try to post them in the link I published....

MagicMissle - the "hot seat" system is where multiple human players are playing the game on the same computer system.  The person who's turn it is sits in the "hot seat," or in other words, when it's your turn, you control the system.  When your turn is over, you pass the system (ie Tablet), or vacate the desk chair so the next person can take their turn.

This is a lot ike playing table-top D&D and all sharing the same set of die - when it's your turn, you get the dice.

Make any translation you want.  Same things apply that I said last time:

"Sure - just send me a .DOC file (via Ross) with the translated text.  Please be aware, I am not multilingual, so I cannot proof read the finished document.

If you cannot create a .DOC file, send me whatever format you can create that preserves the punctuation you need for your particular language."

We are talking about a space AFTER the name.  For example, if the character ^ represents a space, then my name as Trasd^ would not log in correctly.

My advice, at this point and if the space issue doesn't resolve it, would be to have Ross cancel the old account name and you create another.

Ross, now I'm wondering about your relationship with Die!  He (she) must be in the original circle of friends I read about somewhere - in one of your posts or on the site - where you were talking about friends pushing you to create the game (if memory serves, which it usually does not).

I'm posting because I was wondering what the article said, if anything, would be used for streaming - to take Flashes place.  Please don't tell me we will have to rely on SilverLight.

I've been playing the same map since I started, figured I take out one variable, then I just got used to it.  This has been especially true since I've even less time to play lately.  I guess that is a bad habit.  Maybe I should take a leaf out of Die's book and go random as far as the map?

Icevoid, what is meant by this is that one person should not create multiple accounts to cheat the system.  If you and your brother use the same IP, there is nothing wrong with having one account each, as long as one person doesn't log onto both accounts to tweak their numbers on the Leader Board.  Not only will this defeat the purpose of the boards, but it will actually work against you by pitting you against opponents you should not be competing against because they have a lot more experience.  You would probably loose against these guys anyway (and no, I am not one of them - basically I am simply target practice for them).
