Most of the fun heroes (WIZARD!) are in the expansion packs.

I'm actually enjoying the mapmaker function. Definitely worth the price, IMO.

I'm a fan of Fighter Mage, Bard, and Samurai.

The Buffs from the Fighter mage can give the samurai a 6 strength attack with bloodlust (and 10 valor). and a max of 8 strength attack with Bloodlust and Archon's might. If you use the Bard's inspire ability with that, you can wipe out most of the weaker heroes with one hit.  With the eviscerate ability, even if you are 1 damage shy, you can still finish off the hero.

I would love to see a portal spell, with a two way passageway between squares.

It would also be nice if LOS passed through the portals (ala Valve's portal), so you could effectively bend spells like lightning bolt and ranged attacks.

I think for this to work, you would need both portal spaces to have a "face", which would be the one side that you could enter/exit from.

If you are down to a single Guardian and your opponent is down to the Psionist, the only way to win is to have either the psionist or the Rogue.

I was thinking of the set hand as a completely seperate game type, where mana is the limiting factor, and the cards you start with are what you are stuck with (choose those 7 wisely), but the mulligan idea is pretty good.

I've heard a few requests to change the rouge. I agree. He should be renamed the Ranger/Marksman/Archer

If you were to implement a rouge character, I would like to see any of the following:

Backstab - Either as a passive buff to attacks to a characters back.
Throwing Knife - distance limited (4 squares?) ranged attack. (probably discard?)
Evasion/Dodge - either reduction to dice rolls again him (anti-bard) or nullifying hits that land for every single digit roll that accompanies (so with 14d, a [2,15,19] would do 1 damage)


Since there is already a Healing Magic Type, a Cleric would be nice.

+1 to all healing spells as a base ability
Some kind of combat buff +1 attack or defense? as a secondary ability
no idea what the 10 valor would be
Perhaps a 3-4 card resurrect as a 15 valor? (would that be way OP?)


I would also like to see a Dark Knight, Suiccubus (low # of attacks, but steals life), and A witch character.

I would like to be able to stay in the lobby, but mark that I am idle.


That way you can lurk, stay around between games without people waiting for you to join.

Why not +4/-3? That would still give him the option of going into a "defensive mode", but not as powerful (I don't see this as OP at all).

I'm all for self-buffs, as it gives these characters a chance against the other card using/range characters when the Heroes are dead (relatively frequent occurrence).

Removing the self-buffs significantly weakens Guardians that aren't all that powerful to begin with.

I do have a few favorites.

+2 Attacks with the Samurai while inspired.
+2 Defense on the Soul Reaver

I had an awesome battle yesterday, where I killed 2 wizards in 1 turn with my Sorceress.
I also managed to finish off a Mage with a samurai that I resurrected next to a mage. His special took her out.

The summoner's power as it stands is strong enough. Being able to summon, then blow up the character would give the summoner life and 3 additional attacks (per square?) to each enemy, while STILL giving life. That is just ridiculously more powerful than the Meteor shower, and much better than meditation.

I would like a chosen starting hand option as a gametype.

I could see this being you only have those 7 spells for the whole game (but multiple uses) or start with those 7 then go random.

Method to post challenges/game times for other players to see.

So if I was likely to hop on between 7-9 on Sunday, I could have a little note in the lobby when I'm not there stating when I'd likely be on.

That way, if nobody is on, you still have a tentative idea of when someone is likely to hop on.
